As we enter a new year many of us have made resolutions to lose weight, eat healthier, exercise more (or at all for that matter), spend more time with family and friends, etc. but have we developed a strategy to deal with the obstacles that too often keep us from reaching our goals?
Many of us haven’t, not because we lack the genuine desire to see our goals accomplished but because we haven’t recognized the importance of having a strategy to help us stay focused on our goals.
Any successful plan in life requires a strategic plan and focus. The more committed our focus on purpose the more likely we’ll reach our goal. Take some time as the new year approaches to think about what your goals are and strategies for overcoming the common pitfalls that keep you from reaching them and remember to focus on purpose!
